partirà presto il bando per una posizione RTDA presso l'Università di 
Genova, finanziata su un Ecosistema PNRR in Robotica e AI (RAISE).

La tematica di ricerca sarà il monitoraggio e l'ispezione di aree 
portuali tramite droni: il candidato dovrà avere competenze nell'ambito 
dei robot autonomi, preferibilmente (ma non solo) aerei.

Il bando aprirà presto, attorno al 7 Ottobre, e chiuderà in due

One RTDA Researcher Position will soon be available at the University of 
Genova in the Robotics and AI group.

The winner will have the opportunity to work on the RAISE project

focus on developing autonomous drones for monitoring and inspection of 
port infrastructures - Genova Port is one of the biggest of Europe. In 
addition, the winner will collaborate closely with other research groups 
at the University of Genova, in Italy, and the world.

Applicants with experience in one of the following disciplines are 
encouraged to apply:
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and drones.
- Autonomous robots (aerial and terrestrial).

RTDA positions in Italy are regular jobs with social benefits. In 
addition, you will access excellent research facilities with motion 
capture systems and various aerial and terrestrial robots (including 
Boston Dynamic SPOT).

We are a research lab of the Department of Informatics, Bioengineering, 
Robotics, and Systems Engineering of the University of Genova

Established in May 2012, DIBRIS is a university structure where research 
and education are based on Computer Science and Technology, 
Bioengineering, Robotics, and Systems Engineering. The mission of DIBRIS 
is to promote and facilitate the creation (research), transmission 
(education), and technology transfer of knowledge in these areas at the 
national and international levels.

DIBRIS has a long-date experience coordinating international research 
projects, including FP7, H2020, and Horizon Europe.

YOUR SKILLS

In addition to a passion for robotics, programming, and abstract 
thinking, you should meet the following requirements:

- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electronics Engineering, 
Mechatronics, or closely related fields
- Excellent academic track record
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken
- Strong Programming skills
- Ability to lead a team and work independently

The Call for the RTDA position will presumably open around 7th October, 
and the deadline for applying will be around 22th October.

The evaluation of the candidates starts after the deadline.
