è stato pubblicato ieri il bando per una posizione RTDA presso il Politecnico di Milano, finanziata dal Centro Nazionale per le Tecnologie dell’Agricoltura (AgriTech).

L’attività di ricerca si concentrerà sullo sviluppo delle funzionalità di percezione, pianificazione, controllo e coordinamento che supportano una navigazione robusta e affidabile di robot mobili per uso agricolo, in diverse condizioni del suolo e ambientali.

The winner will have the opportunity to work in the new laboratory ROSETEA (RObotic SEnsors Technologies for Environment and Agriculture). The research will focus on developing perception, planning, control, and coordination strategies to support a robust and reliable navigation of autonomous robots for farming tasks, considering different soils and environmental conditions.

Applicants with experience in autonomous robots (aerial and terrestrial) are encouraged to apply.

RTDA positions in Italy are regular jobs with social benefits.
You will access excellent research facilities in a newly created lab, with a motion capture system and various offroad mobile robots, with strong relations with the most important companies working in the field of farming 4.0 and smart farming, and strong relations with farmers.

In addition to a passion for robotics, programming, and abstract thinking, you should meet the following requirements:

- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or closely related fields
- Excellent academic track record
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken
- Strong programming skills
- Ability to lead a team and work independently

The Call for the RTDA position opened on October 14th, and the deadline for applying is November 3rd.

The evaluation of the candidates starts after the deadline.
