Recognizing the role now acquired by I-RIM in the panorama of Italian robotics, the fair invited I-RIM to organize a technical/scientific event focused on the relationship between research and industry in robotics, in the form of a conference to be held on Thursday 13 October at the Stella Polare Congress Center located inside the fair. As you read in the call for papers, there are many ways to participate in the event: * Submit a paper in the form of an extended abstract (2 to 4 pages) by September 4th. The contribution should preferably describe the results of applied research, with particular emphasis on collaborations between industry and research centers. As one of the objectives of the conference is to attract people visiting the fair, it is recommended that the accepted contributions are presented during the conference in a form that allows the communication of the result even to an audience without in-depth technical skills. The contribution may be presented by the research center together with the company, if any, that contributed to the result (*).
