Dear all,

we are pleased to announce the *1st Doctoral Summer School on Robotics and
Intelligent Machines - DRIMS2*, which is taking place from August 30th to
September 5th, 2023 at the Volterra International School of Higher
Education, a Campus in the province of Pisa that can host guests in
residential format offering accommodation, classrooms, recreation areas,
services, didactic supports.

We expect about 100 PhD students to attend the DRIMS2 school.


The topics of the school cover fundamental competences: robot design,
sensing and perception, control and human robot interaction. Hands-on
activities are an integral part of the educational program of the school
and social activities are planned as well.


The official call for participation is expected to *close the 27th of June,
2023*. *Priority for admission will be based on order of registration and
relevance of the PhD program in which the student is enrolled.*
