MyLeg Winter School February 14-15, 2023 Groningen (The Netherlands)

Aim
The MyLeg Winter School 2023 is a two days course to provide participants with a complete overview of research activities and challenges concerning lower-limb prostheses and their usage.
The school is organized within the scope of the Horizon2020 European project MyLeg (www.myleg.eu) and aims at sharing the developed knowledge and lesson learned by the MyLeg Consortium while developing a solid theoretical understanding and the enabling technologies for the realization of a new generation of powered transfemoral prosthetic legs.

Target Audience
The MyLeg Winter School is open for PhD candidates and Researchers whose technological/clinical research interest is in the field of lower-limb prostheses and/or wearable robotics.

Dates
The MyLeg Winter School will take place on February 14 and 15, 2023.

Location
The MyLeg Winter School will be held on the Zernike Campus of the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
Address: Innovation Center Chemistry & Engineering, Blauwborgje 31, 9747 AC Groningen.

Fee
The MyLeg Winter School costs €150, including lectures, lunches, coffee breaks, and the social dinner on February 14th. Registration payment details will be sent on acceptance of participation. Accommodation and travel costs are not included. Cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

Application
Applications should be submitted via email to Raffaella Carloni (r.carloni at rug.nl) before January 20, 2023. All applicants must provide a free format letter (max. 1 page) describing their research and the motivation for attending the school (please specify which workshop you intend to attend and whether you want to bring a poster to present your research). The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 50. If more applications are received, participants will be selected according to the following criteria:
- Balancing between nationalities;
- Research area, background, and motivations as described in the submitted letter;
- Date of application submission.
Notification of acceptance will be sent on January 25, 2023. The final registration deadline is February 1, 2023.
