RobotHeart è la nuova area espositiva interamente dedicata alla robotica che sarà allestita, quest’anno per la prima volta, nell’ambito della 33a edizione di BI.MU. nei padiglioni della Fiera di Milano a Rho. Si tratta di un evento della massima rilevanza per la robotica in Italia, destinato nelle intenzioni degli organizzatori a diventare un punto di riferimento a livello internazionale per la robotica.

Riconoscendo il ruolo identitario ormai acquisito da I-RIM nel panorama della robotica italiana, gli enti organizzatori della fiera hanno invitato I-RIM a curare la realizzazione di un momento tecnico/scientifico di approfondimento delle relazioni tra ricerca e industria nella robotica, nella forma di una conferenza che si terrà Giovedì 13 Ottobre presso il Centro Congressi Stella Polare collocato all’interno della fiera.

Come avete letto nella call for paper, le modalità di partecipazione all’evento sono molteplici:

* Sottoporre un contributo nella forma di abstract esteso (da 2 a 4 pagine) entro il 4 Settembre.  Il contributo dovrebbe preferibilmente illustrare i risultati di una ricerca applicata, con particolare riferimento a collaborazioni tra industria e centri di ricerca. Essendo uno degli obiettivi della conferenza quello di attrarre i visitatori della fiera, è auspicabile che i contributi accettati siano presentati nel corso della conferenza in una forma che privilegi la comunicazione del risultato anche a un pubblico senza competenze tecniche approfondite. Il contributo potrà essere presentato dal centro di ricerca congiuntamente all’eventuale azienda che ha contribuito al risultato (*). Al relatore principale del lavoro sarà richiesta una quota di partecipazione all’evento, quantificata in 200 €, anche a copertura dei costi di pubblicazione open access.

* Allestire uno stand nell’area espositiva di RobotHeart. La data ultima inderogabile posta da UCIMU per richiedere l’allestimento di uno stand è il 10 Settembre. Faccio presente che UCIMU, per favorire le collaborazioni con i centri di ricerca, può offrire una  soluzione pre-allestita  “all inclusive” consistente in uno stand di 16 mq al costo di 4,200 euro + IVA. Se qualcuno fosse interessato a ulteriori dettagli, sono a disposizione per fornirli.

* Partecipare da spettatore alla conferenza a titolo gratuito, previa iscrizione, anch’essa gratuita, alla fiera BI.MU.

RobotHeart is the new exhibition area entirely dedicated to robotics that will be set up, this year for the first time, as part of the 33rd  edition of BI.MU. in the pavilions of the Milan Fair in Rho. This is an event of the utmost importance for robotics in Italy, that in the intentions of the organizers will become an international reference point for robotics.

Recognizing the role now acquired by I-RIM in the panorama of Italian robotics, the fair invited I-RIM to organize a technical/scientific event focused on the relationship between research and industry in robotics, in the form of a conference to be held on Thursday 13 October at the Stella Polare Congress Center located inside the fair.

As you read in the call for papers, there are many ways to participate in the event:

* Submit a paper in the form of an extended abstract (2 to 4 pages) by September 4th. The contribution should preferably describe the results of applied research, with particular emphasis on collaborations between industry and research centers. As one of the objectives of the conference is to attract people visiting the fair, it is recommended that the accepted contributions are presented during the conference in a form that allows the communication of the result even to an audience without in-depth technical skills. The contribution may be presented by the research center together with the company, if any, that contributed to the result (*). The main speaker of the work will be asked for a participation fee, quantified in € 200, also intended to cover the costs of open access publication.

* Set up a stand in the RobotHeart exhibition area. For this purpose, as already mentioned in the call for papers, it is necessary to urgently contact UCIMU (exhibition.manager at ucimu.it mailto:exhibition.manager at ucimu.it) in order to agree on the purchase conditions of the stand. * Attend the conference (without giving a presentation) free of charge, upon free registration to the BI.MU.
