Dear Colleagues,
This is Michele from hibot (Japan)
I am contacting you to share with you the information about this webinar of SprintRobotics on the
impact of robotics for clean energy.
Date this Friday 10th 2pm-5pm JST time (6AM~9AM CET)
We have a quite good list of speakers and I believe there could be interesting to many people from
from robotics fields. There will be a presentation also from the Japanese Ministry of Environment
The webinar is completely free and It is possible to register through this link

FOCUS ON CLEAN ENERGY: THE IMPACT OF ROBOTICS FOR INSPECTION &
MAINTENANCE (I&M) by SPRINT Robotics Collaborative
on FRIDAY, 10 DEC 2021, 2PM-5PM (Japan Standard Time).
The seminar is free of charge, and opening remarks will be delivered by:
SPRINT Robotics Chairman (Tjibbe Bouma),
Ministry of Environment, Japan, & EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation.
Executive Summary
The SPRINT Robotics Collaborative is leading the way in the effort to
accelerate the field use of I&M robotics of capital-intensive
infrastructure on a large scale.
Robotics for I&M are poised to play a significant role in the transition
to clean energy.
On- and off-shore wind energy are undergoing a period of explosive
growth; solar is one of the fastest growing renewable power sources.
Wind and solar farms present significant opportunities for use I&M
robotics, helping to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase
safety and productivity.
