Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Robotics Global Colloquia is a new series of online live events
featuring speakers from academia and industry. The series, organized by
the International Foundation of Robotics Research (IFRR), is conceived
to provide a platform for open discussion and interaction on diverse
themes in robotics - from research and applications to the field’s
social impact and its ethical issues
(http://ifrr.org/robotics-global-colloquia). The series’ goal is to
engage both scientific and public communities across the globe in
current issues and developments, with a format alternating between
panels on broad themes and speakers on specific topics.
The colloquia are bi-weekly events, scheduled every other Thursday.
Times of the colloquia depend on the region where the event is hosted:
Americas - 4:00PM (Pacific Time), Europe/Africa - 4:00PM (Central
European Time), and Asia/Oceania - 3:00PM (JST).
This first colloquium will be a panel on the field of surgical robotics.
*Surgical Robotics Panel *
*When:* Thursday June 18 at 4:00-5:00PM (CET) -- 7:00AM (PT) and 11:00PM
